ABOUT YOUR COURSE INSTRUCTOR

 Welcome artist, my name is Ray Walters, I am a life long learner and feel every individual is the same. I believe that anyone can learn something everyday.   I have been art teaching for many years and still have not discovered all there is to art.  My classes are dedicated to empowering you with the knowledge of art that I know.  At Artistic Creations, you will discover, create and interpret in your own artistic way using many different types of media.  It is a journey that I wish any and all that participate can be taken together, because we all can learn from each other!  Each class has a community art project that all can add their own artistic touches.  In addition music plays an integral part of the class because I encourage artist to play music they love to get in the creative mood.  As an artist myself, I have a great love of watercolors, but I have found a love for abstract art.  My personal art is mixed media, and does not include a paint bush.  I find objects, wood scraps, and little treasures to paint, stamp or rub with to create my artworks.  No matter the medium,  my art is a manifestation of the creative process and a way to share my vision in the hope of inspiring a deep connection between the viewer and the art world.
